Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Fantasy Empire (“we”, “us”) for using the Fantasy Empire website and iOS app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

Fantasy Empire is a free game of skill for entertainment. There is no entry fee, no prize, and no way to deposit, wager or withdraw money in the app. We are not a sportsbook or a betting service.

Some leagues track “FAAB” budgets or salary caps. Those are play money inside the game and have no cash value. If your league arranges anything involving real money among its members, that happens entirely outside the Service and is your league's responsibility, subject to the law where you live.

• You must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires) to use the Service.
• Give accurate sign-up information and keep your password to yourself.
• One person per account. You're responsible for what happens under your login.
• If a commissioner creates a manager login for you, it is still your account once you log in, and these terms apply to you.

A commissioner sets a league's rules: scoring, rosters, waivers, trades and schedule. Commissioner decisions inside a league are theirs to make. We provide the tools and keep the scoring and processing honest, but we don't referee disputes between league members.

Leagues imported from Sleeper mirror public league data from Sleeper. We aren't affiliated with Sleeper, and changes made there may overwrite what you see here.

Don't:

• harass, threaten or impersonate anyone, or post hateful, sexual or illegal content in chat;
• collude, run multiple accounts to tilt a league, or exploit bugs to gain an advantage;
• scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or try to break into the Service or other accounts;
• use the Service for anything unlawful, including gambling where it is prohibited.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Team names, logos, photos and chat messages you add stay yours. You give us permission to store and show them to the people they're meant for (usually your league) so the Service works. Only upload things you have the right to share.

Player stats, news, highlights and projections come from third-party sources and our own models. They can be late, incomplete or wrong, and projections are estimates, not promises. Fantasy Empire is not affiliated with or endorsed by the NFL, NBA, their teams or players, or Sleeper. Names and marks belong to their owners.

We're building Fantasy Empire actively. Features may change, move or go away, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable. We'll try to give notice before changes that matter to your league.

You can delete your account at any time from Delete account in Settings. What happens to your teams and leagues is explained in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data, or for the outcome of any fantasy matchup. Because the Service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

If we change these terms we'll update the date above, and for meaningful changes we'll let you know in the app. Using the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
